Robin Tooms


As CMO, I work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Management Team to ensure we are putting forward innovative brand-building initiatives and marketing strategies that provide value to our members. 

I have spent my 20+ professional career ascending from creative and design roles to leading strategy for clients and serving as a virtual CMO, to an in-house CMO for a leading financial institution. As an innovative marketer, I have deep expertise in areas including B2B, corporate and product branding, digital marketing and marketing automation, and integrated brand and marketing strategies. Over the years, I have gained a reputation for driving initiatives that capture millions of dollars in brand value and new revenue opportunities. 

I firmly believe that everyone has a responsibility to support the community that helped their personal and professional success. My mission has been twofold: create awareness and value for our design and marketing communities, and to support the organizations and students that will shape the next generation of professionals. To do this, I regularly volunteer for board and leadership positions with organizations, including the American Marketing Association (AMA) and AIGA, the professional association for design.
